Energy, focus, calm, and sleep
The two things people ask us about most: how to wake up and how to wind down. On one side, teas built to replace your morning coffee with clean, sustained energy and sharper focus, no jitters, no crash. On the other, botanicals that quiet the noise, ease muscle tension, and help you actually fall asleep.
Our energy blends use yerba mate, green tea, and adaptogenic herbs to fuel your day. Our calming blends rely on kava, chamomile, passionflower, and lavender, the same plants herbalists have reached for over centuries. Same shelf. Opposite ends of the day.
Digestion, detox, and immune defense
Your body does the healing. Tea gives it better tools. Our detox and digestion blends use ginger, peppermint, fennel, and turmeric to support your gut, ease bloating, and help your system reset. Our immunity teas bring together elderberry, echinacea, and anti-inflammatory roots that cultures around the world have relied on long before pharmacies existed.
These are the teas people reach for at the first sign of a sore throat, after a heavy meal, or when the seasons change. They work because the ingredients work, and we use enough of them to matter.
Women's wellness and beauty from within
Some needs don't come in one-size-fits-all. Our women's wellness teas are formulated for the moments that matter most: a healthy pregnancy, nursing care, hormonal balance, and the everyday rhythms that deserve real support. Every ingredient is chosen with intention and safety in mind.
Our beauty and skin blends take the same approach from the outside in. Hibiscus, rosehip, and antioxidant-rich botanicals that support skin glow, hydration, and radiance, the kind of results that start in your cup and show up in the mirror.
Your questions about wellness teas, answered.
For centuries, people have turned to plants for the same things we turn to them for today: better sleep, steadier energy, calmer nerves, stronger immunity. Below are the questions we hear most often at our shop in Oregon and in our inbox. If yours isn't here, reach out. We like the hard ones.
Ingredients, safety, and what to expect
What is kava and is it safe?
Kava is a root from the South Pacific that has been used ceremonially for thousands of years. It contains kavalactones, compounds that promote deep relaxation without dulling your mind. We use noble kava varieties in our Good Night, Muscle Ease, and No Worries blends. Noble kava has a long safety record when consumed as a tea, which is how Pacific Islanders have used it for generations. As with any botanical, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider if you have liver concerns or take medications.
Our kava safety and liver health guide covers the research in depth.
How does kava compare to ashwagandha?
Both are adaptogens, but they do different things. Kava works quickly, often within 20 to 30 minutes, calming the nervous system and easing muscle tension. Think of it as the one you reach for when you need relief now. Ashwagandha is more of a slow build, supporting your stress response over weeks of regular use. Our Body Balance blend combines ashwagandha with other restorative herbs for that kind of steady, sustained support. Some customers use both: kava in the evening, ashwagandha-based blends during the day.

Which tea is best for sleep and anxiety?
It depends on what's keeping you up. For deep, reliable sleep support, our Good Night blend combines kava with passionflower, two of the most studied botanicals for sleep quality. If your issue is more about racing thoughts than insomnia, Chamomile Lavender is gentler, a cup of quiet before bed. For general nervous tension, No Worries uses kava and cinnamon to take the edge off without making you drowsy. Start with what matches your evening: falling asleep, staying asleep, or just slowing down.
Our kava root sleep guide walks through what the research says.
Do you have a tea for muscle relaxation and recovery?
Yes. Muscle Ease was built for exactly this. It uses kava root, which acts as a natural muscle relaxant, alongside hibiscus and other botanicals that support recovery after workouts, long days on your feet, or chronic tension. Steep it strong, drink it warm, and give it about 20 minutes. Many of our customers with active lifestyles keep this one on rotation alongside their post-workout routine.

What does your detox tea actually do?
Our Detox blend supports the organs that do the actual detoxing: your liver, kidneys, and digestive system. It uses dandelion root, burdock, ginger, and peppermint, herbs that traditional herbalists have used for centuries to encourage healthy elimination and reduce bloating. It won't promise miracles. It will give your body the botanical support to do what it already knows how to do, just more efficiently. Caffeine-free, so you can drink it morning or night.
Can tea actually support your immune system?
It can help. Our Elderberry Immunitea combines elderberry with echinacea, two of the most researched immune-support botanicals available. Turmeric Lemon Ginger brings anti-inflammatory support through curcumin and gingerols. And Sneeze Ease was formulated specifically for seasonal discomfort, sinus pressure, and sore throats. These aren't cures. They're the same tools people have used for generations to help their bodies fight back, delivered in a cup you'll actually want to drink.
Is tea a good coffee alternative for clean energy?
For a lot of our customers, it's the reason they found us. Tea delivers caffeine differently than coffee. The L-theanine in green tea and the theobromine in yerba mate smooth out the energy curve, giving you focus without the spike-and-crash cycle. Our Clean Energy blend was designed specifically as a coffee replacement, pairing yerba mate with green tea and adaptogenic herbs for sustained, jitter-free alertness. If you want something that tastes like the ritual of coffee, our Herbal Coffee uses roasted chicory, dandelion, and cacao for that dark, roasty flavor, completely caffeine-free.
Which teas are safe during pregnancy and nursing?
We formulate specific blends for this. Healthy Pregnancy uses raspberry leaf, ginger, and peppermint, ingredients with long traditional use during pregnancy and support from midwives. Leche de Mama supports lactation with fenugreek, fennel, and blessed thistle. Both are caffeine-free. That said, we always recommend checking with your OB or midwife before adding anything new during pregnancy. Our blends with kava, high caffeine, or strong detox herbs should be avoided during pregnancy and nursing.
Which tea helps with skin glow?
Our Skin Glow blend was built around hibiscus and rosehip, ingredients herbalists have reached for in beauty traditions for generations. Hibiscus carries vitamin C and the deep red of anthocyanins. Rosehip adds essential fatty acids. The cup is bright, tart, and lightly floral, the kind you sip iced on a warm afternoon. Caffeine-free.
Are these teas medicinal?
Our wellness teas are crafted to support a healthy lifestyle using time-honored organic botanicals. They are not medications. Statements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. We encourage you to enjoy them as part of a balanced approach to well-being and to consult your healthcare provider for specific health concerns.
What other ways can I explore your teas?
This page organizes our teas by mood and wellness goal. You can also browse by type, including black, green, herbal, chai, and rooibos, or by flavor if you already know what your palate is after: spiced and cozy, bright and citrus, floral and aromatic, or smoky and bold. Three ways in, same organic loose leaf teas.
