Traditional Preparation
Measure
Use 1-2 teaspoons of South African Chai loose-leaf tea per 8 oz of water.
Heat
Boil water and let it cool for a minute to reach around 200°F (93°C).
Steep
Pour hot water over the tea leaves and steep for 5-7 minutes. For a stronger, more robust flavor, steep for up to 10 minutes.
Enjoy
Strain the tea leaves and savor the rich, aromatic flavors of your perfectly brewed cup.
