We blend two South African cousins: Red Rooibos (famous for its vanilla notes) and Honeybush (named for its honey-scented flowers). Why It Works

Most teas get bitter if you steep them too long. Rooibos and Honeybush are unique because they are exceptionally low in tannins. This means you cannot over-steep them. Does it contain sugar?

No! The sweetness comes entirely from the plants themselves. Honeybush contains cyclopia, a compound that gives it a honey-like flavor. It is safe for diabetics and anyone avoiding added sugar.

Is this good for dessert?

Why can I steep it so long?

Unlike black or green tea, Rooibos has very low tannin levels. Tannins are what make tea taste bitter/astringent. Since Rooibos lacks them, you can steep it for hours and it will only get sweeter.
