The Golden Milk Chai

If you have been trying to drink more turmeric but can't stand the taste of plain turmeric tea, this is for you. We built this blend on a base of organic **Honeybush** (a sweeter cousin of Rooibos) and infused it with creamy Coconut flakes, Orange Peel, and warming Chai spices. It transforms the earthy flavor of turmeric into a rich, decadent treat.

Why It Works

Turmeric is powerful, but it can be bitter. By blending it with fats (Coconut) and natural sweeteners (Honeybush and Cinnamon), we mask the bitterness completely. The result is a cup that delivers all the anti-inflammatory benefits of a wellness tonic, but tastes like a spiced dessert.

The Latte Ritual

Yes! Real turmeric is a potent dye. It will stain plastic, rubber, and porous ceramics a bright yellow. We recommend using a glass or stainless steel mug and wiping up spills immediately.

Does it taste like curry?

Not really. While it shares ingredients with curry (Turmeric, Ginger, Cardamom), the addition of Honeybush, Coconut, and Orange Peel pushes the flavor profile toward "Sweet Spice" rather than "Savory Dinner."

Every batch of Yerba Buena tea is blended, tested, and packed in our dedicated tea kitchen in Salem, Oregon. We do not use co-packers or giant industrial machines. We blend in small lots to ensure that the oils are still volatile and the spices are still punchy when they reach your cup. It is a difference you can taste.

Is it safe for allergies (Gluten/Nuts)?

We keep it clean. All YBTCO teas are naturally Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, and Vegan. Our facility does not process wheat, soy, peanuts, or dairy.

The Coconut Note: The only allergen present in our facility is Coconut (Tree Nut), which is used in specific blends like Maven Blend and Turmeric Spice. We adhere to strict cleaning protocols to prevent cross-contamination, but if you have a severe tree nut allergy, please shop with caution.
