Shipping Policy

Processing Time
We process orders Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Once an order is placed, it typically takes 1-3 business days to process. During periods of high order volume (such as holidays, promotions, or other peak times), processing times may extend to 3-5 business days. Please note that processing times are separate from shipping times.

Estimated Delivery Times
Shipping times depend on your selected shipping method and the destination. Delivery estimates provided at checkout are only estimates and not guarantees. Once your order has shipped, Yerba Buena Tea Company is not responsible for carrier delays, lost packages, or other issues that may arise after the package has been handed over to the shipping carrier. If your order is delayed, please contact the shipping carrier directly for updates using the tracking number provided.

Free Shipping
We offer free shipping on orders over $70 to contiguous U.S. addresses. Orders below this amount, or shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or other outlying areas, will incur shipping fees based on the selected method and destination.

Shipping Carriers
We primarily ship through the United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS). Customers may select their preferred shipping method at checkout. Shipping fees and delivery times will be calculated based on the shipping method selected and the delivery location.

Carrier Liability
Once your order is shipped, we are no longer responsible for any delays or issues caused by the carrier. Delivery dates provided are estimates and are subject to change based on the carrier's schedule and unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or logistical delays. In the event of a lost or damaged package, please contact the shipping carrier directly with your tracking information.

International Shipping
At this time, we only ship internationally to Canada. International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their country. These fees are not included in our prices or shipping costs and must be paid by the recipient upon delivery.


Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Yerba Buena Tea Company, we take pride in sourcing the highest quality products, and your satisfaction is important to us. However, due to the nature of our products, certain restrictions apply to returns and exchanges.

No Returns Policy

For health and safety reasons, and as a certified food facility, we do not accept returns on any tea or consumable products. All sales are considered final once the product has been shipped. This policy is in place to ensure the integrity and safety of the products we offer.

Quality Issues

If you believe that a product you received is defective or does not meet the quality standards you expect, please contact us within 14 days of your purchase at info@ybtco.com. Please provide your order number and a detailed description of the issue. In certain cases, we may request photographic evidence or other documentation to evaluate the situation.

  • If the issue is deemed a legitimate quality concern, we may offer a replacement or store credit.
  • Refunds are not provided for issues of personal taste preference, as tea is an agricultural product subject to seasonal variations in flavor profiles.
  • We reserve the right to assess the nature of each issue on a case-by-case basis, and to determine the most appropriate resolution.

Third-Party Purchases

If you purchased our products through a third-party retailer or partner, please contact them directly for returns, exchanges, or product concerns. We are unable to process returns or offer remedies for products sold outside of our official website, as we lack access to transaction and order details from third-party vendors.

Damaged or Lost Packages

If your package arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact the shipping carrier directly using the tracking number provided. Yerba Buena Tea Company is not responsible for packages once they are handed over to the shipping carrier. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges due to the nature of our products. However, if there is a quality issue with your order, we may offer a replacement at our discretion, following an evaluation of the issue.
