Traditional Preparation
Measure
Use 1-2 teaspoons of Pu’erh Tea loose-leaf per 8 oz (240 ml) of water.
Heat
Heat water to 203°F-212°F (95°C-100°C) to release the tea’s rich and earthy notes.
Steep
Pour hot water over the leaves and immediately discard the first infusion to awaken the tea and remove impurities. Steep for 3-5 minutes, adjusting steeping time for a stronger or milder flavor.
Enjoy
Strain the tea leaves and savor the bold and grounding flavors of Pu’erh Tea.
