Traditional Preparation
Measure
Use 1-2 teaspoons of Lapsang Souchong loose-leaf per 8 oz (240 ml) of water.
Heat
Heat water to 203°F-212°F (95°C-100°C) to extract the full-bodied, smoky flavors.
Steep
Pour hot water over the tea leaves and steep for 4-5 minutes. Adjust steeping time for desired strength.
Enjoy
Strain the tea leaves and savor the bold, smoky essence of Lapsang Souchong.
