Traditional Preparation
Measure
Use 1-2 teaspoons of Green Sencha loose-leaf per 8 oz (240 ml) of water.
Heat
Heat water to 175°F-185°F (80°C-85°C) to preserve the tea’s grassy flavors and avoid bitterness.
Steep
Pour hot water over the tea leaves and steep for 1-2 minutes for a light, refreshing cup. Steep longer for a stronger flavor.
Enjoy
Strain the tea leaves and savor the bright, grassy notes of Green Sencha.
