Traditional Preparation
Measure
Use 1 teaspoon of Darjeeling loose-leaf tea per 8 oz (240 ml) of water.
Heat
Heat water to 195°F-205°F (90°C-96°C) to preserve its delicate floral and muscatel notes.
Steep
Pour hot water over the tea leaves and steep for 3-5 minutes. For a stronger flavor, steep slightly longer.
Enjoy
Strain the tea leaves and savor the crisp, aromatic flavors of Darjeeling.
