About Chamomile Mint

The After-Dinner Digestif

This is the tea to reach for after a heavy meal. We’ve taken our signature whole Egyptian chamomile blossoms and paired them with refreshing Pacific Northwest peppermint. It’s a simple, two-ingredient blend that feels sophisticated, cooling, and deeply settling.

Why It Works

Peppermint is one of nature’s best digestive aids, helping to soothe the stomach and reduce bloating, while chamomile relaxes the muscles. By combining them, we create a tea that doesn't just help you sleep, it helps you feel comfortable enough to sleep.

The Cooling Ritual

Hot or Cold. This is one of the few herbal teas that tastes as good iced as it does hot. Brew it hot to settle your stomach after dinner, or cold-brew it in the fridge for a crisp, caffeine-free hydrator that cools you down on a hot Oregon afternoon.

Organic Ingredients
  • Organic Chamomile Flowers
  • Organic Peppermint Leaf
  • Organic Spearmint Leaf
Tasting Notes

Aroma: A sharp, clean blast of mint softened by sweet apple notes.

Flavor: Refreshingly cool. The peppermint hits the palate first, followed by the syrupy sweetness of the chamomile.

Finish: Clean and tingling, leaving the breath fresh.

Why You'll Love It

The Stomach Soother: Both chamomile and peppermint are carminative herbs, meaning they are traditionally used to relieve gas and bloating. This makes it the ideal "dessert tea" to finish your evening.

Pacific Northwest Mint: We source our peppermint from the Pacific Northwest, a region world-renowned for producing the most potent, high-oil mint leaves on the planet.

  • The Tummy Tonic: Brew it strong (5+ minutes) when you have indulged a little too much at dinner. It works faster than you'd expect.
  • Minty Cold Brew: Add 2 tablespoons to a pitcher of cold water and leave it in the fridge overnight. Strain in the morning for a refreshing, sugar-free water alternative.

Your Questions About Chamomile Mint, Answered.

Is the mint flavor strong?

It is balanced. The peppermint provides a crisp, cooling top note, but the chamomile adds a rich body that prevents it from tasting like toothpaste. It is sweet, herbaceous, and refreshing.

Will the peppermint keep me awake?

No. Peppermint is naturally caffeine-free. While the flavor is "bright," it does not stimulate the nervous system like caffeine. In fact, it relaxes the muscles, making it a great partner for sleep-inducing chamomile.

Is this good for digestion?

Yes. This is our #1 recommendation for digestion. The combination of mint (cooling) and chamomile (antispasmodic) is traditionally used to settle upset stomachs and ease bloating.

FAQs Simply Answered

Are your teas organic?

The Short Answer: Yes. Every single leaf, root, and flower we source is Certified USDA Organic.

The Details: We believe that flavor starts in the soil. We strictly partner with growers who practice sustainable, organic farming, organic approved pesticides, no GMOs, and no "natural flavorings" sprayed on the leaves. While our Salem facility is a dedicated small-batch kitchen (and not yet a certified processing plant), our commitment to 100% organic ingredients is absolute. You are drinking pure nature, nothing else.

What are the "Refill Bags"?

We designed our system to be sustainable.

Our Signature Tin, protects the tea and contains all the detailed brewing and ingredient information.

The Refill:
When you run low, you buy a Refill Bag.

Please Note: These biodegradable bags are designed as "Transport Vessels" only. They are not intended for individual sale. Upon arrival, please use the refill bag with into your YBTCO Tin. This ensures your tea stays fresh and you have the correct brewing instructions at hand.

Where is this made?

Handcrafted in Oregon.

Every batch of Yerba Buena tea is blended, tested, and packed in our dedicated tea kitchen in Salem, Oregon. We do not use co-packers or giant industrial machines. We blend in small lots to ensure that the oils are still volatile and the spices are still punchy when they reach your cup. It is a difference you can taste.

Is it safe for allergies (Gluten/Nuts)?

We keep it clean. All YBTCO teas are naturally Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, and Vegan. Our facility does not process wheat, soy, peanuts, or dairy.

The Coconut Note: The only allergen present in our facility is Coconut (Tree Nut), which is used in specific blends like Maven Blend and Turmeric Spice. We adhere to strict cleaning protocols to prevent cross-contamination, but if you have a severe tree nut allergy, please shop with caution.

When will my order ship?

We know you are ready to brew. Because we hand-pack orders, they typically leave our Oregon kitchen within 2-3 business days.

  • Free Shipping: We cover the shipping on all US orders over $70.
  • The Carriers: We ship via USPS and UPS. You’ll get a tracking number the second your label is printed so you can follow the tea to your doorstep.
